Who is Akrilika Europe?
Akrilika Europe is the official European representation of the Akrilika solid surface factory. We supply sheets, cast basins and fabricated elements in Akrilika, Apietra and Kristall acrylic, plus AQ engineered quartz, to architects, contractors, fabricators and OEM builders across Europe.
What is the difference between Akrilika and Apietra?
Akrilika is 100 % acrylic solid surface: it can be thermoformed into curves and pressed basins and carries a 15-year limited warranty. Apietra is a modified acrylic for flat work with stone and marble looks; it cannot be bent, costs less and carries a 10-year limited warranty.
Is Akrilika fire-rated?
TÜV Rheinland classified Akrilika A101 as Bfl-s1 to EN 13501-1 (tested on 8 mm fibre-cement, 2015), and SGS rated it Class 1 for surface spread of flame to BS 476-7. We send the test reports on request so your fire engineer can check them against the application.
Can you supply a series of identical units?
Yes. Hotels, washroom contractors and OEM builders order vanity tops, basins and components in series. We recommend producing a series from one colour batch, because colour can vary slightly between batches, and approving a physical sample first.
Do you sell outside Europe?
No. Akrilika Europe serves projects in European countries only. Tell us the delivery country with your enquiry and we quote delivery with the materials.
How do I get samples?
Open the colour library, tap + on the colours you want and send the sample tray with your delivery address. Standard samples are free for project teams in Europe, delivery included.
